Lynne Davis, founder and CEO of NterNow is in studio for today’s episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, the group discusses the success NterNow has experienced during the coronavirus crisis. Davis’ patented on-demand home access system has helped several companies and individuals in the building industry continue to gather leads and generate sales.
Over 10 years ago, Davis was working as a Realtor and was struggling to sell a few houses inside the Atlanta perimeter. This was right around the time of the Great Recession, and Davis was worried about the homes of her builder and others. It was this worry that helped her realize joining technology to the industry could immensely help sales.
“I could figure out who those people were who were pulling all my flyers, but not calling me to see the house,” said Davis. “If I offered them immediate home access, maybe they would bite, and I could figure out who these prospects were.”
Since Davis was in college, she knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur. While working her first job, she took night classes at Syracuse to help earn a degree in entrepreneurial science. This passion for starting her own business and being a lifelong learner helped her establish the pieces to start NterNow.
NterNow is all about self-service. The company allows for homes to remain locked until interested buyers are ready to tour through the model and move-in ready homes by themselves. The customer is able to view these homes more comfortably and without pressure while touring alone. NterNow is also able to gather information from these interested buyers through the identity verification process. This information can be sent to the sales agent for a follow-up.
“Today’s consumer has been moving the building world towards self-service for a long time now,” said Davis. “The rise of virtual and augmented reality where people can envision themselves in the comfort of their own home and social and things like Pinterest that allow people to create their homes are all dreaming platforms for a new home.”
NterNow is not designed to take the place of onsite sales agents, but rather aid in sales and allow for alternatives to touring homes. All homebuyers are different and have different needs and wants when it comes to purchasing a home. NterNow allows for flexibility and the ability to offer different options. It is also extremely useful and beneficial during the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. People can maintain social distancing while still touring homes and searching for their future dream home.
NterNow is positioned to continue to help home builders through the coronavirus crisis. For more information, call 678-910-1811 or visit www.NterNow.com. You can also listen to the full interview above!
