If you’re looking for fun Atlanta events for New Year’s Eve, your options are limitless. Of course there is always the Peach Drop at Underground Atlanta, but if you want to make this year special by doing something unique with the whole family, there are several entertaining venues that you should visit.
Begin your New Year’s Eve celebrations by visiting the High Museum of Art for the Titian and the Golden Age of Venetian Painting exhibit. There you can explore 12 paintings and 13 drawings of Venetian Renaissance art. Next, stop by Lenox Square Mall to visit the Pink Pig at Macy’s. There, you and your family can ride Priscilla the Pink Pig on train tracks through a life-sized storybook.
If your family has outgrown the Priscilla the Pink Pig ride, there are still many opportunities for fun in the city. For a unique New Year’s Eve celebration, stop by Agatha’s Mystery Dinner Theatre to help Detective Jackie Frost sniff out “The Stench Who Stank-Up Christmas.” Not only will you stuff yourself full of laughs, but you’ll also get a five-course meal. Or, step back in time for dinner and a show at the Medieval Times.
Top off the evening at Atlantic Station. There will be plenty of holiday magic to go around with a beautifully decorated and illuminated tree, a realistic snowfall, drink specials and DJ Hakim.
