Construction Reserves is always looking for new talented team members. Just a couple of weeks ago, Builders Floor Covering and Tile had the pleasure of hiring a new Outside Sales Representative, Abbey Gibboney. With her past experience in design, we are confident Abbey will do a wonderful job in her new role!

Since starting with Builders Floor Covering and Tile, Abbey has been helping assist in the Buckhead showroom with the retail and designer clients. For the next couple of months, she will continue to familiarize herself with the products and meet with vendors. After, Abbey will focus on commercial designers and builders.

As an Outside Sales Representative, Abbey is responsible for meeting with clients and helping them select the best products suited for their projects and designing layouts. While helping to pick the best products, Abbey quotes projects, measures and will place necessary orders to meet the customer’s needs. Other responsibilities include ordering and supplying samples to the clients when needed, staying current with product knowledge, following up with leads and bringing in new leads, assisting with showroom walk-in traffic and looking for new ways to improve the business.

Abbey has immensely enjoyed her first days at Builders Flooring and Tile and meeting her new colleagues. “Everyone has been so friendly and helpful,” explains Abbey. “I do love the amount of teamwork I have observed over the past couple of weeks. It shows that everyone really does care about the success of the company and each other.”

Prior to working with Builders Floor Covering and Tile, Abbey graduated from Bauder College with an interior design degree. Upon graduation, Abbey worked for G&L Marble for eight years until their closing in 2010. Afterwards, she worked for Bottega Stone until her present job with us. These jobs have gained her experience and knowledge in helping designers, builders and architects with the selection and design of countertops, flooring and walls.

Abbey currently resides in Mableton with her amazing husband and three children, two beautiful daughters and a new handsome 3-month-old son. When she is not working, Abbey enjoys scrapbooking, reading, playing softball and spending as much time as she can with her family.
