Atlanta’s Best New Homes Show recently welcomed Branch Manager of New American Funding’s metro Atlanta office, Kim Arrington. Arrington joined this segment of Mortgage Minute sponsored by New American Funding to discuss the New American Dream Initiative
The New American Dream initiative was created in 2016 by New American Funding President and Co-Founder, Patty Arvielo. This initiative was created to help raise awareness and increase homeownership in African American communities. To help achieve this goal, New American Funding is offering several programs designed to increase consumer confidence through education and accessibility to relevant loan programs.
New American Funding is currently partnering with its local “hometown heroes,” including law enforcement, first responders, educators, veterans and more. The goal is to help raise awareness for the New American Dream Initiative in these communities, as well as others. The partnership allows New American Funding to inform and educate about the safety measures involved with homeownership. Moving into 2021, New American Funding is moving its partnerships into HBCU and public schools to help raise even more awareness and educate students on financial literacy.
“That’s a real key piece of taking in our product program, to be able to give them hands-on tools and resources,” said Arrington. “Being able to bring them into this mortgage industry and teach them, train them and educate them for tomorrow.”
