The Soleil Spring Festival will be a delightful weekend, and with the help of local chef Nancy Waldeck, it is sure to be a scrumptious one as well.

    Nancy is usually found giving cooking demonstrations through The Cook’s Warehouse or her own company Taste and Savor, and Sunday May 23, she will show off her skills at the Soleil Spring Festival.

    Nancy learned the chef trade through apprenticeship. She learned all she could and worked her way from the dishes up. Now she is an Atlanta treasure, and teaches numerous cooking and wine classes, writes articles and styles food for television and photos. She also creates fantastic, unique recipes.

    She brings a multitude of culinary experiences and will delight and entertain in the teaching kitchen of Soleil Laurel Canyon‘s expansive clubhouse. The Soleil Spring Festival is a two-day event taking place May 22-23.

    The festival will feature “Georgia’s Gardener” Walter Reeves on Saturday who will talk about spring planting and amending the tough Georgia red clay. Nancy will be the star on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, guests can tour beautiful model homes and experience the Soleil lifestyle. Tennis and bocce ball clinics will be held throughout the weekend.
