Monte Hewett Homes Wins Gold OBIE for The Townsend Model at The Park at Historic Roswell

Monte Hewett Homes Wins a Gold OBIE in the Best Interior Merchandising – Attached Model $700,000 to $799,999 category for the Townsend model at The Park at Historic Roswell. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

The merchandising of the Townsend model focused on creating a sophisticated, transitional feel. This is achieved by incorporating a neutral and natural color palette with warm classic gray cabinetry and grey red oak hardwood floors that can be found throughout the home. Furnishings such as the natural floors and décor follow the natural colors, elements and textures.  Custom fretwork detailing on the walls and floor to ceiling linen draperies coordinate with the textures in the sisal rugs and wool bedding further enhance the owner’s suite. The kitchen features neutral gray cabinetry, quartz countertops and a Calacatta porcelain tile backsplash. The color palette further enhanced by warm, aged brass metal tones in the accessories and lighting. All of these details come together seamlessly to create a very relaxing and calming feel to the home.
