The Roswell Historical Society’s 2017 Tour of Homes is an opportunity to take an exclusive look inside some of the private homes and public spaces that capture the character of the early Roswell years. Monte Hewett Homes is excited to sponsor the Roswell Tour of Homes this year.
On Saturday, September 16 from 1 to 5 p.m, guests will get to tour the recently restored Dolvin House in addition to five other homes located on Sloan Street and Roswell’s historic Mill Village. Attendees will experience and enjoy the architecture, beauty and history that still remains in Roswell.
The cost to attend the 2017 Tour of Homes is $25 for tickets purchased in advance and $30 for tickets purchased the day of the tour. Guests can purchase tickets at www.RoswellHistoricalSociety.org.
As a Bronze Level Sponsor, Monte Hewett Homes is helping to fund monthly history programs, the placement of historic markers throughout the city of Roswell and the efforts of the Roswell Historical Society’s staff to record, restore and preserve artifacts of Roswell’s history.
For 40 years, the Roswell Historical Society has worked diligently to collect, preserve, share and promote Roswell’s unique history. To tell the story of the entire Roswell community, the Roswell Historical Society is dedicated to restoring and displaying each artifact it possesses. The Roswell Historical Society’s current home is in the Roswell Cultural Arts Center, located only steps from Monte Hewett Homes’ The Park at Historic Roswell community.
The Park at Historic Roswell is located only steps away from Historic Roswell’s most popular shopping and dining on Canton Street. Residents at The Park at Historic Roswell benefit from living in a hub of culture, history and nature, with the Roswell Public Library, the Historic Roswell Mill, Historic Roswell Square, the Roswell Cultural Arts Center and the Chattahoochee Nature Center only blocks from home.
