Monte Hewett Homes Wins OBIE for New Buckhead Townhome Model

Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Monte Hewett Homes for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Interior Merchandising $800,000 and above category for its decorated Stilby model at Landen Pine, a new Buckhead townhome community. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

The designer’s inspiration for this home’s design was an art gallery with white-on-white paints and warm, wide-planked white oak hardwoods. It is a Buckhead interpretation of Scandinavian meets transitional design. The overall design focused around an extensive and unique collection of art.

The open layout is perfect for entertaining – channeling a modern-day speak-easy – thus  the main living area features several focal points such as the recessed shelving and unique lighting fixture in the dining area, the painted brick accent wall in the living room and the contrasting black and whites in the modern-styled kitchen. The kitchen mixes black and white, slab door cabinetry and brass hardware with thick, white quartz countertops and a Calacatta marble backsplash.

The owner’s suite features warm walnut wood tones to contrast the rich black paint and painted brick accent wall. The owner’s bath boasts concrete floor tiles, articulating wall sconces and custom iron shower doors and aged brass plumbing.

Landen Pine is a new Buckhead townhome community of 44 townhomes. Community amenities include a community pool, greenspace and private courtyards with stunning views. The target market for this stunning community includes a wide variety of homebuyers such as young professionals, young families with children and older couples looking for an urban, hip lifestyle with walkability and a safe environment for their families.
