With the passing of Christmas, the New Year is officially upon us! Once the holiday fun is over, if you opted for a real tree, it is time to explore Christmas tree disposal options. Check out some of the top Christmas tree recycling locations throughout the metro Atlanta area near Monte Hewett Homes communities.
The builder offers several Buckhead communities including Enclave at Chastain, Landen Pine and The Wesley. Buckhead residents may bring Christmas trees to be recycled to The Home Depot on Piedmont Road on Saturday, January 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Saturday, January 4, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. residents at Halcyon in Alpharetta may Bring One for the Chipper at Home Depot, located at 5300 Windward Parkway, for recycling.
Roswell residents at Oak Crossing and The Park at Historic Roswell, in partnership with Keep Roswell Beautiful, have two Bring One for the Chipper drop-off options coming up on Saturday, January 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: the Home Depot on Holcomb Bridge Road in Holcomb Woods Shopping Center and Woodstock Road across from Publix. Trees should have bases, lights, and ornaments removed.
Additionally, City of Atlanta residents whose trash is picked up by Public Works, not a private company, may place their trees curbside for pickup on yard trimmings pick-up days. Trees can be placed curbside if they are less than 4-feet tall or cut in half so both halves are less than 4-feet. Remove all lights and decorations, and do not place the tree in a plastic bag. Bulk waste should be placed on the curb by 7 p.m. the night before your scheduled collection day.
Monte Hewett Homes prides itself on building new homes in convenient, sought-after areas.
