Maya Teague joins terra alma as creative director.

terra alma, a woman-owned boutique real estate advisory firm, is proud to announce the appointment of Maya Teague as Creative Director. Teague’s day-to-day responsibilities will include producing client content, developing brand books for terra alma clients, designing marketing decks for landlords and developers, and curating terra alma’s brand presence through Facebook, Instagram and weekly email newsletters.

“We are thrilled to welcome Maya to the terra alma team,” said Edie Weintraub, Founder and Chief Community Builder. “Her creative vision and passion for the industry are a great asset to Terra Alma. We look forward to seeing her impact on our clients and our brand.”

“Our clients are some of the coolest small businesses in Atlanta. My excitement about terra alma comes from the brokerage’s passion for lifting up entrepreneurs and helping them scale,” Teague said.

“I was inspired to join terra alma after reading an Urbanize Atlanta article highlighting the team’s work with developers, local restaurants and retail brands. A collaborative, all-woman team closing commercial real estate deals was exciting, and I wanted to be part of the vision, so I reached out and began cultivating a relationship.”

She is eager to contribute her unique perspective to the team. Throughout her 20s and early 30s, Teague worked for several restaurant groups in the city, including Rocket Farm, Chai Pani Group, and Monday Night Brewing, saying, “Food and beverage is the cornerstone of Atlanta’s culture, and I always found myself going back to work in restaurants because of the stability the industry provided when I was juggling video production jobs and freelancing. Bussing tables and serving guests are experiences I will lean into when brainstorming the perfect space for our retail clients.”

Teague brings a discerning style sense and the ability to create a distinctive brand message for each of terra alma’s customers. As Creative Director for terra alma, she has the rare opportunity to blend her love of real estate, design and digital media content. A metro Atlanta native, she grew up in Norcross and now resides on the city’s Westside.

When Teague isn’t animating logos or editing video, she’s DIY-ing her latest home renovation project, crafting, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and working on her fitness. As a volunteer for her neighborhood association, she’s passionate about retaining legacy residents and financial literacy education. She recently launched community engagement efforts in partnership with the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management for an upcoming Proctor Creek stream restoration project, including a new greenspace for the neighborhood. “Placemaking influences how we live our lives day-to-day. Whether it’s commercial development or public parks, I love seeing my hometown grow, expand and be discovered.”

Teague is a licensed real estate agent with a B.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design.
