One of Level Craft’s most recent renovations started as an outdated, single-story home on Kensington Road. While the home was quite large and had strong bones, it was in need of a defined style, more usable space and a bit of a refresh to create more of a light and airy feel. The most dramatic change the Level Craft team recommended and implemented was raising the roof to create a dormer. Not only did this add much needed interest to the home’s main living area, but it also opened up the space and flooded it with beautiful, natural light.
Along with the additions to the roof, Level Craft also rebuilt the home’s owner’s suite, guest suite, two bathrooms, kitchen and main living area which now includes a home office. To utilize this home’s gracious backyard space, Level Craft expanded the home outdoors with a screened porch and cozy fireplace perfect for outdoor gathering. The home’s garage was transformed into a one-bedroom apartment and a carport was added for convenience and extra storage. To complete the home renovation, the team gave the exterior a facelift by combining clean lines and updated materials for a fresh new look.
