The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulates Leslie Rodgers for winning a Gold OBIE for Rookie Salesperson of the Year for her work with Smith Douglas Homes in Woodward Crossing, Gatewood Arbor, Longview and Stoneview Manor. The OBIE awards are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

Leslie Rodgers has had extraordinary and immediate success in the real estate industry, due in part to her ability to adapt and operate in a very fast-paced environment. Beginning her real estate career as a real estate agent with Smith Douglas Homes on Jan. 2, 2014, Leslie has blown away her entire company with her accomplishments, undeniably contributing to the success of the company. It is difficult for her colleagues to view her as a rookie because she has truly conducted herself in all of her interactions, transactions and experiences with the poise of a veteran.

Since Jan. 2, Leslie Rodgers has opened three new startup communities and closed out one established community. This could be an overwhelming task for a brand new agent, but Leslie rose to the top and approached all of her opportunities with noteworthy dedication and an intense and strong work ethic, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure her home buyers had a pleasant and seamless experience with Smith Douglas Homes. This is Smith Douglas Homes’ ultimate goal, and Leslie Rodgers is a prime example of a talented professional that truly takes this to heart and always follows through. In one week alone, Leslie Rodgers wrote five contracts, surprising even the most seasoned agents and home building professionals on the Smith Douglas team. In total, in a six-month period, Leslie sold 34 gross homes and 31 net homes. She achieved all of this without working in a model home, as she had just moved into her first Model Home Sales Center on May 20. She had a gross sales volume in that time of $5,563,235 with a pending sales volume of $4,650,815. Leslie Rodgers exhibits many qualities that set her apart and enable her to exceed well beyond expectations.

As a sales agent, Leslie manages her communities with an attitude of excellence and always rises to the occasion. Due to this, Leslie has earned great respect as a “go-getter” among our Sales Agents and corporate staff. Leslie also works very closely with all departments to ensure her home buyers are well taken care of throughout the entire process, experiencing the commitment to excellence Smith Douglas prides itself on. She has quickly created a strong connection with the sales team, vendor partners, and all departments within Smith Douglas, and she is proactive in devising strategies working with marketing to capitalize on marketing programs specific to the unique needs and challenges for her communities. In her spare time, Leslie Rodgers is a member of the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council and volunteers within her community, constantly seeking new ways to give back. Smith Douglas Homes is very proud of Leslie Rodgers’ quick climb to success and the amazing way in which she has adapted to being a consummate professional in such a short period of time.
