The Big Event is a FREE family festival presented by Lake Oconee Area Builders Association

Lake Oconee Area Builders Association (LOABA) announces The Big Event. This free one-day festival takes place on Saturday, March 16, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lake Oconee Village, located at 1000 Vista Drive in Greensboro, Georgia.

Exhibitors, Food, Fun & Entertainment

The event features 180 local exhibitors, including home builders, remodelers, suppliers and many other companies associated with the industry, such as mortgage, pest control, appraisers and more. In addition to home and garden vendors, there will be local merchants, artists and non-profit organizations, arts and crafts, boats and recreational vehicles.

Food will be available from Chick-fil-a, as well as food trucks Southern Smoke Shack, Island Chef, Queen Churro, Kona Ice, Dough Daddy Dough, Five Finger Philly and Farmers Funnel Cakes.

A special FREE Kids Zone offers face painting, games, photos and a few other surprises.

Entertainment from the local community includes local groups showcasing their talent.

Parking is FREE

Attendees are encouraged to park on the backside of the complex. There is ample paved parking. Overflow parking lots are available offsite. For those who may not be able to walk the distance, there will be FREE trolleys from the designated parking areas. Look for parking signs along Linger Longer Road.

Well-behaved, leashed, and vaccinated Pets are welcome.
