The Atlanta 55+ Housing Council is currently seeking its 2018 board members.

The council is looking to fill two spots with committed members who will bring fresh ideas and new perspectives to the table. This is especially important, since home design trends are constantly changing and the active-adult population continues to grow faster than any other home buying group in the nation.

Board members have the opportunity to interact with others in the active-adult home building industry and learn and share the latest information and trends in the housing market, ensuring that home builders have a competitive edge in the industry. They will become leaders of the dominant force driving the 55+ housing market in Atlanta and nationwide. Board members will also help plan education and networking opportunities upon which to build a successful foundation for home builders and their businesses.

The Atlanta 55+ Housing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Assocation is made up of home building professionals who are dedicated to offering excellent housing to the baby boomer generation, currently the fastest growing group of home buyers in the United States. The council does this through membership, programs, advocacy, education and charity aims to grow active-adult home building quality.
