Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates John Michelena and Carol Turner for being named Sales Team of the Year at the 2016 OBIE Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

John Michelena has been in the new home business for more than 27 years with diverse experience in marketing, advertising, new home sales and operations management. He has been with Century Communities since 2014.

Carol Turner has been in the new home business for over 20 years. Her vast experience in marketing, advertising and management has given her the solid foundation to consistently perform in the new home sales arena at the highest level. Carol has been with Century Communities since January 2016.

A successful sales team is made up of individuals who thrive in a team environment; John and Carol do just that. Since February 2016, they have come together as a unit and used their seniority in the new home business to sell $6 million in homes this year. Their unique talents complement each other and have catapulted Moss Creek Estates in Forsyth County into being nearly 40 percent sold out before the community’s Grand Opening!

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 36th anniversary in 2016. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories.
