Sales Manager with Jim Chapman Communities and Southwyck Homes, Lynnsey McCarter, is in the studio for today’s Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio episode. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, the group discusses Jim Chapman Communities and Southwyck Homes’ partnership in two metro Atlanta 55+ communities on this All About Real Estate segment of Radio.
McCarter has been in the real estate industry in Georgia since 2008. Because of the climate surrounding the housing market crash, McCarter got involved with foreclosures at Wachovia National Bank, where she handled properties up and down the East Coast. After Wachovia experienced a merger, McCarter decided to branch out and handle foreclosures from an agent standpoint. After having children, McCarter transitioned into the new construction side of the industry, working with several builders including Beazer Homes. Most recently, McCarter has settled with Jim Chapman Communities.
Jim Chapman Communities has been building homes for over 22 years in the metro Atlanta area. With the ever-changing field of real estate, the builder decided to shift its focus towards rental home communities. Two of its big award-winning neighborhoods, Nestledown Farm and The Overlook at Old Atlanta, have welcomed Southwyck Homes into the communities. Southwyck Homes was the business partner of Jim Chapman in the original development of the two communities.
