Jennifer Crosby

Balancing modern and classic interior design techniques is all in a day’s work for President and CEO of Crosby Design Group, Jennifer Crosby. Today’s guest on the All About Atlanta Real Estate segment of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio talks about the company’s current and upcoming projects along with her personal and professional engagement with Atlanta nonprofits. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schick, take a listen to learn more about Crosby Design Group and its owner.

Crosby began the company in 2000 after she graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with an Interior Design degree. The company has flourished during its 21 years and now has two separate locations — the residential studio in downtown Roswell and the commercial studio in Midtown.

“I pride myself on that I have cherry-picked out some of the strongest designers that, I believe, the city has to offer for both of our studios,” said Crosby.

Crosby Design Group stays busy with a myriad of projects including 55+ communities and homes, coastal properties and Midtown’s newest luxury high rise, Seven88 West Midtown. During each project, the firm works hand-in-hand with owners and developers to bring visions to life using interior design.

Earlier this year, the interior design firm was tasked with balancing both modern and classic interior design techniques while working on The Brunswick, a multi-family project in historic Norcross. Working off that vision, they created a design that embodies the city’s old charm with a special twist.

Personal and professional interests overlap since both the Crosby Design Group and Crosby herself are heavily invested in the 55+ home-building community. The Florida community, Olea at Nocatee, is one such example where the firm provided a luxury lifestyle for the active adult property. Crosby is also on the board of the Greater Atlanta Home Building Association’s 55+ Housing Council.

“The 55-plus council has introduced us to a lot of different opportunities. In fact, we were just awarded the BOB Award which is called the Best of the Best for design,” said Crosby. “This award is the best of the best for 55-plus for the Evoq Town Flats project.”

Jennifer has a heart for community service and is also on the board of Sunshine on a Ranney Day. She has designed many rooms for children with special needs for this organization.  Her latest work with the nonprofit focuses on its new Roswell store, Sunny & Ranney.

Sunny & Ranney sells designer home goods and furniture to support home makeovers that transform the lives of children with special needs. Crosby Design Group along with other Atlanta-based interior design firms donated products to the store.

As the company moves forward, Crosby Design Group hopes to grow organically while utilizing employee talents to give clients the best end product. With exciting projects coming down the line, the focus is to provide fantastic interior designs while keeping the customer safe and happy.
