Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Intown Renovations Group on winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Kitchen Remodel under $50,000 category for this small bungalow in Decatur. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
This home is a small bungalow in Decatur. Opening up the floor plan to flow through the dining room and hall created a “wow” effect, while also maximizing a limited amount of space. Several closets were repurposed, giving the feel of added square footage when in actuality the square footage remains the same.
Kitchen space was increased by widening an opening to the hall and wall between the dining room and kitchen. An existing window was closed and new opening to the hall was framed. On new window was installed, along with interior trim and crown to match in kitchen areas (with no cabinets). Several appliances were relocated and additional new appliances were also installed.
Intown Renovations manages all types of home renovation projects ranging from various handyman projects, bathroom renovations and kitchen renovations to 2nd floor additions, exterior facelifts and full house renovations.
