Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Intown Renovations Group, LLC for winning a Gold OBIE in the Whole-House Renovation over $500,000 category. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

intown renovationsA dream home realized. A two-bedroom, one-bath duplex was replaced with a stunningly appointed custom home. The existing house was completely demolished, including the footer and foundations. Beginning with new footings and foundation, a new two-story home was constructed with slabs poured for new garage, patio and basement, custom brick and stucco work, Spanish archways, hand-crafted rounded stairs between floors, beamed ceilings, custom cabinetry, hardwood flooring, marbled kitchen countertops and island slab, double-tiered deck with partial wrap-around to French doors opening to the kitchen and double French doors opening to the great room, the centerpiece of which is a stucco fireplace. The upstairs level has an owner’s suite that includes a centerpiece tub wall, separate his-and-hers bathroom suites and a hallway between bedrooms that is barreled (not flat). The home has a new front porch with Spanish archways and a concealed three-car garage on the west side of the home at the back.

This is a custom crafted new home, a project usually reserved for custom home “builders.” Attention to detail was paramount to the success of the design–a labor of love by the homeowners.  An open floor plan with high ceilings (note the barreled ceiling on the second floor between the master suite and other two bedrooms) achieves beautiful interior space that belies the exterior of the home, which does not overpower the neighborhood in size. The new home is inviting, comfortable and, most importantly, family-centered.
