Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Intown Renovations Group, LLC for winning a Gold OBIE in the Basement under $75,000 category. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Intown Renovations Group converted a dirt basement into a functional family room getaway that includes a bar tucked under the stairs, complete with bar tap and soda machine. The space also includes a full bathroom, game table, multi-media entertainment area and tons of storage.
This project is a stunning transformation of a 1920’s midtown residence from its state of total neglect to one of extraordinary appointments that include an open floor plan, warm hardwoods and neutral tones, the addition of a two-car garage and paved driveway onto the back of the house crowned with an invisible screened porch, the length and breadth of the garage.
Modern conveniences in the kitchen blended into custom cabinetry all crowned with hand-cut marble countertops. The extension of the first floor footprint now allows for an office opposite the formal living room but secluded by double pocket doors. The owner’s suite accompanies three additional bedrooms with room to grow in a now finished attic space. The owner’s bath is larger than most standard-size bedrooms, appointed with marble and a corner footed tub, preserving a little “flavor” from the 1920’s.
