Morning registration begins at 9 a.m. with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament will be a shamble format. Prizes will be awarded for Longest Drive and Closest-To-The-Pin contests, in addition to First Place Low Net and First Place Low Gross teams.

New at the tournament this year, golfers have the opportunity to use an AR-15 Ball Launcher on one hole, thanks to Charity Golf Guns, to launch their ball approximately 350-450 yards instead of using a driver. The tournament will also feature hand-rolled Cuban cigars and a cigar-rolling station with celebrity cigar host, author, and certified tobacconist Joe ‘the Cigartainer’ Sweigart.

Food and beverages will be served throughout the day. Following the tournament, golfers will enjoy a reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails as well as raffle to win prizes.

“I think this will be our best tournament yet. It will be great mix of competition and fun. I’m looking forward to watching golfers use the ball launcher instead of a driver on one of the long holes,” said Cecily Stevens, HomeAid Atlanta Marketing and Development Manager. “We are so thankful for the incredible support shown for this tournament by the Atlanta home building industry over the last 20 years. The funds raised go long way in support of our mission, and with new construction projects in the works, and exploring affordable housing, these funds are integral to our work. I’m really looking forward to seeing so many builders and friends at TPC Sugarloaf on October 17!”

All proceeds from this event support HomeAid Atlanta’s work to build a future without homelessness. Advance registration is required. Complete tournament information, including online registration and sponsorship opportunities are located at www.homeaidatlanta.org/golf.
