Monte Hewett Homes invites you to kick off the holiday season this weekend at Holidays at Halcyon. Beginning this weekend, Halcyon will host a variety of holiday-themed activities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy:
Halcyon Holiday Celebration & Santa’s Arrival on Saturday, December 7
From 3 to 7 p.m. Halcyon will feature live music, entertainment and more. Take photos in the vintage, holiday-themed photo camper and enjoy DJ and live musical performances from local musicians, “Frozen” performances by Stipe Studio, a dance performance by the Sawnee Ballet Theater, face painting, free kids’ crafts with Pine and Pigment and special in-store offers. The Red Popcorn Wagon will also be on site with snacks available for purchase.
Santa will arrive at 4 p.m. during a parade through Halcyon led by Coach Crowder with Denmark High, Denny the Dane, cheerleaders, football players, volunteers and pups from Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters. Santa will be available for photos until 7 p.m., so bring your cameras!
Ladies Night Out on Thursday, December 12
From 6 to 9 p.m. enjoy a holiday-themed night out with your girlfriends! Enter to win a $250 shopping spree at Apricot Lane boutique as well as other merchant giveaways while browsing the newly opened stores at Halcyon to complete your holiday wish list. Proceeds from Ladies Night Out benefit Jesse’s House, formerly known as the Forsyth County Youth Shelter.
Santa Paws on Sunday, December 15
From 1 to 4 p.m., bring the whole family (dogs included) for Santa Paws, a special event benefiting Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters. By donating $20, attendees can enjoy a professional photo with Santa, a Halcyon dog gift and treat from Lizard Thicket boutique and a free puppicino at Cherry Street Brewpub.
Donations will also include unlimited visits to the vintage, holiday-themed photo camper booth at Halycon, where guests can take fun photos and print out their photo strips on the spot. Popbar will also have $2 pupPacks available for purchase. Mention Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters and they will make a donation to the organization.
Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl on Wednesday, December 18
What holiday season would be complete without an ugly Christmas sweater party? Do not 
miss the inaugural Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl at Halcyon! Participating bars and restaurants will host a festive evening of seasonal brews, cocktails and more, with special offers exclusive to bar crawl attendees. Tickets are available here for $5 and will benefit Giving Kitchen, an organization providing emergency assistance to food service workers through a network of community resources and financial support.
Brunch and Brews with Santa on Saturday, December 21
Join Cherry Street Brewpub for the inaugural Brunch and Brews with Santa. Santa will arrive to mingle and jingle at 10 a.m. with brunch served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Hosted by the Jewish Community of Forsyth County, join Halcyon for a Chanukah celebration on the Village Green. Complete details here.
New Year’s Eve Celebration on Tuesday, December 31
Ring in the New Year at Cherry Street Brewpub’s inaugural celebration! Small bites will be available for purchase at until 11:30 p.m. and festivities include music and a dance party by DJ Derek and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
