Today’s guests on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio are Jason Paulk, owner of Paulk Outdoors and Christmas Décor, and Lyndsay Theado, Event Producer of the Holiday Light Spectacular. Todd Schnick and Bryan Nonni host the conversation around the Holiday Light Spectacular. During the conversation, the foursome discusses Paulk Outdoors and Christmas Décor, the Holiday Light Spectacular and all the sights, sound and activities attendees can enjoy at Atlanta Motor Speedway this holiday season.

Paulk Outdoors is owned by Jason Paulk, and it’s primarily a landscaping company throughout the year. In addition, Paulk Outdoors is a regional franchise owner for Christmas Décor. Paulk Outdoors is one of approximately 350 locations of Christmas Décor throughout the nation and Canada.

Christmas Décor provides holiday decorations for residential and commercial locations throughout Atlanta. The crew will come to a property, design Christmas decorations to fit the property, put up the decorations, which include Christmas trees, lights, wreaths and more, and then come and take it down after the holiday season ends. As Jason Paulk said, “We take the hassle out of your holiday season.”

Holiday Light Spectacular by Christmas Décor is a project overseen by both Lyndsay and Jason. Located at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the event had its grand opening the day after Thanksgiving and will continue until Dec. 31. The main idea of the event is a lighted drive-through that allows you to stop at Santa’s Village in the infield to see Santa and write a wish list to the jolly guy, eat free s’mores through Christmas Eve, do some shopping, ride carnival rides and take pictures in front of a 40-foot tree of lights!

“If you’ve seen the Holiday Light Spectacular before, this year’s edition is completely different, especially with the new Santa’s Village,” said Paulk.

The village will be filled with a number of different shopping vendors including Atlanta Motor Speedway gifts and apparel, Thirty-One, The Chocolate Box, Castle Rock Honey, Oakhill Treasures and Strong Rock Camp. In addition to the letters to Santa area, kids will also be able to get photos and videos with Santa through Christmas Eve, and face painting will also be offered. Kids can enjoy numerous carnival rides including a Ferris wheel, an old fashioned carousel and more! Wrist bands get kids unlimited rides, and carnival prizes will also be offered at the village. Food is available from the Tannery Row Ale House, and carnival snacks will be available, along with hot cocoa and snow cones by Kona Ice.

The drive through component to the Holiday Light Spectacular is the main focus of the event. Attendees will be able to drive under the grand stand, which is not usually permitted, and through the lights. At the end of the drive-through, attendees will drive over the finish line to end the experience with a bang! The drive-through is more than two miles worth of lights consisting of more than three million individual lights!

Monday nights are double drive through nights, so attendees will get two drives for the price of one. Tomorrow night, Dec. 18, is Cookies for a Cause, meaning attendees will be #DecoratingForDonations in Santa’s Village from 6 to 10 p.m. After enjoying the amazing light show, stop by Santa’s Village to decorate your Christmas cookies side-by-side with local chefs from around metro Atlanta. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event will benefit Speedway Children’s Charities.

On Saturday, Dec. 19, the Holiday Light Spectacular will feature movie night. A drive-in movie area will be showing The Polar Express. After driving through the drive-through lights, attendees can pull up to Santa’s Village and watch from their cars! Movie-goers can tune into the movie from their car, and the movie will be playing on repeat all night.

Come out to the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Holiday Light Spectacular before Santa leaves! For more information about the Holiday Light Spectacular, visit www.AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com. For more information about Paulk Outdoors, visit www.PaulkOutdoors.com.
