The Lighting at Colony Square
December 2 & 3, 2022

This year, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is reimagining a new holiday tradition to kick off the season. The annual Children’s Holiday Parade will be replaced by a two-day celebration full of fun for the entire family at The Lighting on Colony Square. On December 2, experience a holiday spectacular celebration showcasing jolly entertainment, festive photo ops, live music from A-Town A-List and more! Following the festivities, gather around The Plaza stage for the tree lighting countdown featuring Santa and the honorary tree lighter from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The celebration continues December 3, with breakfast with Santa, a Children’s Holly Jolly Celebration and other festivities on the square. The Nutcracker
December 9 – 26, 2022

The newest version of Atlanta Ballet’s Yuri Possokhov’s The Nutcracker will be performed on the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre stage this season. Described as “one of the most entertaining [Nutcrackers] out there” by The Washington Post following the Company’s 2019 Washington D.C. debut at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, this innovative production features larger-than-life sets and bold costumes enhanced by striking video projections, created by a world-class creative team that includes Tony Award-winning and -nominated designers. Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden
November 12, 2022 – January 14, 2023

This dazzling light-fest is sure to please everyone in your group. The 12th Annual Garden Lights, Holiday Nights presented by Invesco QQQ is one of Atlanta’s favorite holiday traditions! Timed tickets are currently available to purchase for Garden Members and the public. While plenty of the show’s fan-favorite features will return, guests can expect new twists, including an all-new exhibition in the Anne Cox Chambers Garden by French artist Cédric LeBorgne and three sculptures from the sring/summer exhibition, Origami in the Garden. Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Georgia

Stone Mountain Christmas

IllumiNights at the Zoo
Now – January 15, 2023

Zoo Atlanta is partnering with Hanart Culture to bring back the unique light experience, IllumiNights at the Zoo. The Chinese Lantern Festival is now open to the public through Jan. 16. This is the perfect way to explore the Zoo after dark! You’ll enjoy more than 80 lanterns on a magical walk through the zoo.  Some lanterns are life sized and some larger than life! The Rink at Park Tavern

Skate the Station
November 18, 2022 – January 16, 2023

Get into the holiday spirit by heading over to the largest ice-skating rink in Metro Atlanta! Skate the Station is back at Atlantic Station, and all are invited to skate under the stars. Skate the Station is weather-permitting and updates are available on Atlantic Station’s social media channels. Tickets are available online and at the door, and skate rentals are included with each ticket purchase. Timed ticketing and other safety protocols will be enforced.
