The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulates Heather Heil and Lori Asche for winning a Gold OBIE for Sales Team of the Year for their work with Ashton Woods in Woodstock Knoll and Overlook at Woodstock Knoll in Cherokee County. The OBIE awards are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

Ashton Woods Community Sales Managers Heather Heil and Lori Asche possess the characteristics worthy of Sales Team of the Year recognition. The two have greatly contributed to achieving company sales goals with a back-to-basics approach that emphasizes an enthusiastic, positive, motivated, organized and open attitude; daily prospecting; information gathering; relationship developing and strong follow-up. The two are likeable and credible to buyers and other sales agents and make strong Realtor relationships a priority. They also possess an impressive knowledge of product, which allows them to sell better than the competition.

Heather started working in the industry 11 years ago after working in property management and looking for advancement. Her sales experience is exclusively with new homes, having worked the first half of her career with another national builder. What she likes most about selling homes is getting to know and becoming friends with the homeowners in a community and watching those families grow. Customers feel at ease with Heather, who gets to know a family before sitting down to talk business with them. She makes it a priority to be easy to talk to, positive and friendly at all times, and to have an infectiously high level of energy that spreads to customers and other employees around her.

Lori has been working in the industry since 2004 and for Ashton Woods since 2010. Though she has only been with the company for four years, she has quickly become a shining star not only within the sales department but in the Atlanta division as a whole. Her strong work ethic and willingness to work as much as necessary have been major drivers in her success. Lori is one of those employees that can be counted on to work seven days a week if necessary and possesses the confidence to not be scared to ask for the sale (a trait that is surprisingly rare in new home sales).

Heather and Lori work in communities with 13 different floor plans ranging in size from 2,156 to 3,894 feet, and in price from $309,000 to $469,900, so they work with families, move up buyers, professionals and empty nesters looking for energy-efficient new construction single-family homes in Cobb and Cherokee counties, two highly sought after metro Atlanta locations. In one year’s time, Lori and Heather closed $27,111,748 in volume, 65 homes in total, 85 percent of their sellable inventory. They are an incredible team, making huge contributions to the Ashton Woods family and highly deserving of recognition.
