Greg Bray with Blue Tangerine on Radio

Blue Tangerine Owner Greg Bray joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast to discuss marketing tactics for the new year and website building tips. Bray joins host Carol Morgan for the All About Real Estate segment.

An internet professional long before it was widely used, Bray was a computer science major at Brigham Young University. Since the ’90s, Bray has been working on websites and now owns the widely respected Blue Tangerine, a digital marketing and website development agency.

Bray said, “I really love helping people build their businesses. That’s truly the heart of what I love.”

Blue Tangerine specializes in online lead generation for residential construction home builders. After constructing a better website, Blue Tangerine helps drive increased traffic with tools such as SEO, page search and email marketing. With proper techniques, the traffic then converts into leads. Blue Tangerine analyzes traffic on a consistent basis to ensure the site is reaching desired audiences.

The past two years of the pandemic created a sizzling hot real estate market in Atlanta as well as across the country. Bray shares that he does not believe this can persist! He says now is the time to take advantage of the record-breaking numbers to make lead generation effective. This way when traffic numbers begin to fall, you’ll have a stable of leads to continue to work on.

Bray said, “We need to start stepping back and saying it’s not going to be like this forever. I need to prepare.”

Another trend Bray has seen is companies marketing further down the customer service chain. Before, many builders targeted audiences based on lead generation, but the pandemic changed the game. With real estate sales backlogged, the main goal is to help customers feel connected to the homebuying process while waiting for availability. These updated practices increase customer engagement and elevate the entire process.

Focusing on e-commerce is another popular trend to better support transactions on a builder’s website during the pandemic. Any time a customer gives a builder information to move the buying process forward is considered a transaction. The benefit of having a virtual and seamless buying experience is the added convenience as well an additional level of connection that customers feel with many other businesses.

The big question is how can a website support every transactional touchpoint throughout the buying process? Tune in to the interview to find the answer to this and much more!
