silent auction

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is currently seeking donations for its annual Holiday Party and Silent Auction, hosted by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC). The Greater Atlanta HBA hosts a holiday event each year to benefit HomeAid Atlanta, its official charity.

The “Cirque-Tacular Extravaganza” will be held on Thursday, December 7 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Perimeter at Villa Christina. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit HomeAid, a nonprofit organization that has been working to build new lives for Atlanta’s homeless population since 2001.

Interested parties can help HomeAid by sponsoring or donating to the Atlanta SMC and Greater Atlanta HBA’s silent auction. Those interested in sponsoring can sponsor the performers that will be present at this year’s event, including musicians, jugglers, unicyclers, stilt walkers, acrobalancers and jugglers.

Those who would like to contribute to the silent auction itself may donate vacation trips, rentals, airfare, electronics, art, gift cards, sporting event tickets, jewelry, golf outings, event tickets, sport memorabilia, unique gift baskets and more. In addition to contributing to a good cause, donors will receive recognition at the silent auction and in HomeAid Atlanta’s newsletter and a tax-deductible donation receipt.

The Greater Atlanta HBA will also accept cash donations for HomeAid Atlanta. Checks should be made payable to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

The Hyatt Perimeter at Villa Christina is located at 4000 Summit Boulevard in Atlanta. The event is business attire and the cost to attend is $45 for HBA members and $55 for non-HBA members with an additional walk-in fee.
