Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is committed to providing opportunities for continuing education to its members and will be hosting CMP/MIRM courses this October. This is an exciting opportunity to start your Master’s in Residential Marketing and expand your knowledge of the building process. The online component of the courses must be completed prior to the classroom component, which will be on October 3 and 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s office.

Greater Atlanta HBA members who want to take their residential marketing to the next level can earn credits toward their Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP) or their Master in Residential Marketing (MIRM) designations by taking the Principles of Residential Marketing course. The online and two-day program is split into two courses, CMP/MIRM I and CMP/MIRM II.

The cost to take the courses covers the online and classroom components. Per course, the price is $474 for HBA members, $499 for other HBA members and $624 for non-HBA members.

Each course’s online component must be completed prior to the start of the course. CMP/MIRM I teaches Research and Analysis and CMP/MIRM II teaches Strategy and Implementation. Participants will learn to monitor the market success of their projects and increase sales through effective marketing strategies.

Students will earn 12 Residential Builder and CHPB hours per course.

Upon completion of these courses, participants will have 12 continuing education credit hours toward their MIRM or CMP designations.

The Greater Atlanta HBA offers education and development programs that give new home sales agents a competitive edge, increase their knowledge and allow them to network with fellow professionals.
