On January 19, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) hosted its Annual Installation and Award Ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During the ceremony, Scott Richards was named Chapter President of the Year!
With seven active chapters representing the City of Atlanta across nine counties, each chapter provides networking and educational opportunities. The GAHBA recognizes one Chapter President for impressive excellence and member service, in honor of the services each chapter provides.
Richards has served as an outstanding leader within the GAHBA throughout his tenure as Chapter President. With over 30 years of experience within the home building industry, Richards has worn many hats within various roles. Even in the thick of starting his own company and running for state office, Richards has hosted a total of four socials and seven luncheons. Under his leadership, the crowd-favorite event – Braves Game social – was introduced as well as his chapter’s Barrels Up event. Thanks to the dedication and hard work Richards has put in, the Cobb/Cherokee Chapter has had an incredibly successful two years including record profits and great participation.
