Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Gayle Bickham for being named Sales Manager of the Year at the 2018 OBIE Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Gayle Bickham began her management career in July 2017. In less than a year, she was promoted from Vice President of Sales to Executive Vice President of Sales and had a more than 290 percent increase in sales. She began with seven agents and now has 13 customer service managers and a Vice President of Sales that report to her directly, along with two indirect reports. The dollar volume of new homes sold in Silverstone communities supervised by Bickham totaled over $58 million while the number of new homes sold in communities supervised by her is climbing upwards of 250!
Bickham measures her achievement based on goals she establishes for herself and the sales team. Her No. 1 goal is to consistently sell more new homes in less time. She accomplishes this by identifying and correcting business “blind-spots” while implementing proven techniques to increase traffic, visibility and sales. In addition, she supports Silverstone Communities agents in a way where they view their practice not as work but as a business under their stewardship.
Bickham also provides scholarships to young people seeking to become licensed. She holds seminars to introduce them to real estate, and for those who are interested, they have the opportunity to become certified junior marketers with the option to become new home sales interns. In addition to her success, Bickham is always seeking to improve herself while having a positive impact on the industry.
