Blue Heron Nature Preserve, a nonprofit environmental center in North Atlanta, recently announced it had reached its $750,000 goal to complete the Blueway Trail. Upon completion, this 3-mile trail will provide access to all three parcels of the Nature Preserve.

“Thanks to the tremendous efforts of our board, generous gifts from local foundations and individuals, we have completed the largest capital campaign our young organization has ever undertaken,” Blue Heron Nature Preserve Executive Director Kevin McCauley said. “Plans for Phase II include linking Blue Heron’s trails to nearby Chastain Park and PATH 400.”
