Sept. 24-26, the Cobb Galleria Center will be abuzz with vendors and professionals from experts in the home improvement and remodeling industries for the 27th Annual Fall Atlanta Home Show. Friday, Sept. 24, SEMCO Productions is offering free admission to housing industry and real estate professionals. Free Friday admission will be available for licensed real estate agents, professionals who work in the housing industry, as well as members of:

  • National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
  • Home Builders Association (HBA)
  • National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA)
  • Georgia Real Estate Investors Association (GaREIA)
  • American Institute of Architects (AIA)
  • National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC)
  • American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
  • Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA)

Professionals coming to the show Friday just need to show his or her business card for free admission. It will be a great way for professionals to educate themselves on the newest products and services on the market.

The show will feature exhibits from hundreds of local home improvement companies, as well as seminars on a variety of topics. Guest speakers and hands-on demonstrations will provide attendees with tips and advice on home remodeling and repair, gardening and landscaping, energy savings, cooking, decorating, outdoor living and more. There will also be live radio broadcasts, culinary demonstrations and activities for children.

As a special treat this year, eight of metro Atlanta’s top designers have been selected to create a beautiful seating area showcasing various styles. The vignettes will be part of the brand-new “Total Wine & Design Experience” area presented by Total Wine & More. A $5 donation to Hope Atlanta is required in addition to show admission for adults to sample eight different wines from around the world.

The Cobb Galleria Centre is located at Two Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339.  Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 6 p.m.  Adult tickets are $10.  Children 12 and under and adults 65 and over are admitted for free.  Two-day passes are available for $15.  Discount coupons are available through the website or the Show’s Facebook page.  On-site parking is free.  The Show’s 24-hour information line is 770-798-1997.
