Ed Olwine, former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves (1986-1988), was named the Salesperson of the Year last Saturday night at the 32nd OBIE Awards. Ed has been in the real estate business for more than 17 years and a part of the Traton Homes family for the past eight years. For the past four years, Ed has been recognized in the New Homes-Top 5% by the Atlanta Board of Realtors, ranking number six in 2011 among all new home agents in Atlanta.

Since joining the Traton team, Ed has sold at several communities ranging from Walden Park on Atlanta’s southside to his current community, The Estates of Fernwood Creek,  in Cherokee County. The Estates of Fernwood Creek (mid $300,000s to low $500,000s) has been a top performer since opening three years ago. Ed has sold out of Phase I and is now well into selling Phase 2 of this community.

In 2011, Ed sold 21 homes for a total of $8.8 million in sales. So far in 2012, Ed has sold 22 homes.
