Here are a few last-minute options to make your Valentine’s weekend in Atlanta one to remember:
Sips n’ Strokes: If you’re more of the creative type, check out classes at Sips n’ Strokes in Woodstock and Sandy Springs. Guests will have a fun and relaxing night with a guided painting class, complete with wine and desserts. There is no experience required for these courses, so don’t worry if you haven’t picked up a paint brush since the third grade – it’s all about having fun! Classes at Sips n’ Strokes are available for this weekend on Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14 at various times depending on the location. Register for a night of artistic fun in Woodstock or Sandy Springs!
Valentine’s Day Skate Nights at Atlantic Station: Head to Atlantic Station for a variety of fun ice skating events taking place this weekend! Couples can attend the Sweetheart Skate on Feb. 14 from 7 to 10 p.m., and singles can enjoy a commitment-free night of fun at the Singles Skate Night on Feb. 13 from 7 to 10 p.m. Guests can also enjoy one of three Dinner and Skate packages, all of which include dinner for two, ice skating and a treat from Kilwin’s. Snow Mountain: If you and your sweetheart prefer to have an adventurous Valentine’s Day, spend the day tubing at Snow Mountain! Featuring a 400-foot hill with family-sized tubes available, this event is perfect for couples, friends and the whole family. If you plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the kids, they can have plenty of fun building snowmen, shooting snowballs and playing in five football fields’ worth of snow. Guests are not required to bring any snow gear or tubes, but be sure to dress warmly! Stone Mountain Park is only offering this event through Feb. 22, so use this weekend to have some snowy adventures for Valentine’s Day.
Starlight Drive-In Theatre: Opt for an old-fashioned night of romance by going to see a drive-in movie at the Starlight Drive-In Theatre! Nestled in the corner of East Atlanta, the Starlight Drive-In features four screens with state-of-the-art digital projection systems so that guests can enjoy crystal clear images and surround-sound right from their cars.
