Fresh summer produce is back! Halcyon, South Forsyth County’s new mixed-use development, recently kicked-off its farmers market for the season with added safety measures in place in accordance with CDC guidelines. The farmers market will take place every Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Halcyon event lot behind the Cherry Street Brew Pup.
At the Halcyon Farmers Market, visitors will find a variety of fresh produce and homemade provisions from nearly 20 local and regional vendors. Items for purchase include an assortment of berries, peaches, flowers, jams, granola, cheeses and breads, among many other goods.
The Halcyon Farmers Market has pledged to follow all guidelines and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and local officials, to promote social distancing and increased sanitation. All vendor booths are spaced 10 feet apart and offer hand sanitizer for use. Vendors are required to wear masks, and Halcyon will also have free masks available for visitors who want one or do not bring their own.
In addition to the farmers market reopening, five new retailers will be opening their doors at Halcyon this month offering a variety of services and products. Before heading to the farmers market, be sure to stop by and give these retailers a visit:
