The fourth of July is a great say for our country. In 1776, we declared our independence from Great Britain and became our own country governed by our own people. Since then, we have been able to celebrate freedom and live freely. We live in one of the greatest countries in the world, and that is why we celebrate July 4, our Independence Day.

There is no better way to celebrate this holiday than with friends and family at the Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain Park. From July 1 to July 4, come out and see the newly updated Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision with state-of-the-art digital graphics and awe-inspiring effects that is sure to wow the whole family. Immediately after the Lashershow, there will be a special patriotic fireworks show every night. It is the same show each night starting at 9:30 p.m., so don’t miss out on the fun!

Stone Mountain Park will open at 10:30 a.m. and will have plenty of attractions to see and do before the show each night. You can take the family to visit SkyHike to trek through the treetops or the Geyser Towers with multiple levels of rope bridges and net tunnels overlooking the gushing geyser. Make a day to spend with your family at Stone Mountain Park for the Fantastic Fourth Celebration, voted the “Best Place to see Fireworks in Atlanta” by Atlanta Journal Constitution readers.

The cost to park is $15 unless you have the $40 annual permit. Be sure to get there early for fun for the whole family. For more information about Fantastic Fourth Celebration and Stone Mountain Park, visit their website.
