As we hang up our costumes and move further into fall, Soleil Laurel Canyon knows that the season isn’t simply a time for giving thanks; it’s also a time for giving back. Soleil residents are actively involved in the Canton community. Whether it’s through charitable giving or volunteering, Soleil residents can always be counted on to donate their time and efforts.

Soleil’s community feel goes well beyond social clubs, events and holiday celebrations. Philanthropic events establish great camaraderie among residents, which is a large reason why food drives and other charity events garner a large amount of participation at Soleil Laurel Canyon.  This year, Soleil will host a food drive for the MUST Ministries of Canton at the community’s annual Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon.

On Oct. 7 and 8, 2013 at 11:30 a.m., the Soleil residents will gather for the annual Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon. Tickets to this event are in high demand every year, as this event has become a great tradition for residents to gather and give their thanks for family, friends and the Soleil Lauren Canyon community. They’ll enjoy cranberry relish, ham, hot cider, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and turkey, all courtesy of the Soleil Cooking Clubs. Residents will add a personal touch by providing side dishes and desserts to share.

At Soleil, we’re thankful for days filled with activities and friends. What are you thankful for this year?  Share with us on Facebook!
