fall festivals

Pumpkins are appearing, leaves are turning and fall is approaching. This fantastic season is accompanied by events every weekend in and around metro Atlanta. Heatherland Homes’ residents are enjoying the many fall festivals happening around their exclusive communities.

Scarecrow Invasion in Woodstock

On October 1, Woodstock is prepared to be invaded and taken over. There is no need to worry; however, because the culprits are scarecrows! Individuals, families, nonprofits and businesses worked hard all month to create the most creative, spooky and festive scarecrows for display along Main Street in Woodstock. Head over to the trendy town during the month of October to look at the fun scarecrow creations while also exploring the shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities available. While the scarecrows are only available to see during October, the effects of this fall festival will keep on giving to Woodstock. All proceeds from Scarecrow Invasion go to INSeason. This organization works with the city of Woodstock to create programs for residents and to enhance the beauty of the town. For more information on Scarecrow Invasion, click the link here!
