Monte Hewett Homes prides itself on building luxury new homes in sought-after areas that are walkable, convenient and lifestyle driven. To encourage Life Well Built, Monte Hewett Homes builds in Midtown Atlanta, Buckhead, Roswell and Alpharetta – where there is plenty to do to kick off the fall season!
Here are a few ways to enjoy the pending cooler weather around Roswell communities at Oak Crossing and The Park at Historic Roswell and Avalon in Alpharetta.
Get in the fall spirit by attending the Fall Festival on the Farm at Martin’s Garden at Coleman Farms on Sunday, October 14! From 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., the inaugural event will offer activities for the whole family to enjoy such as hayrides, a petting zoo, lawn games, a fire pit with s’mores and farm tours, to name a few. Additional offerings include beer tastings, food trucks and the pumpkin patch.
On Thursday, October 18, head to downtown Roswell for the final Alive in Roswell event of the year! Sponsored by Gate City Brewing and Carl Black Roswell, the monthly free, family-friendly festival features live bands, food trucks, kids games and more. However, not technically a “fall” event, Alive in Roswell is an excellent opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy the walkability Historic Canton Street has to offer. Take a quick stroll down to The Park at Historic Roswell and tour one of the two decorated model townhomes!
Chattahoochee Nature Center will offer its 32nd Annual Halloween Hikes on October 19, 20, 26 and 27. From 7 to 10 p.m., this event is the perfect non-scary alternative to traditional Halloween events. Admission is $12 per person and includes a guided nature hike through the forest where kids have the chance to interact with (costumed) woodland creatures and hear about how they live, world music, crafts and a campfire. Food and s’mores kits are available for an extra cost. As an added bonus, all proceeds benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center!
