On this week’s Around Atlanta segment of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio, Monday Night Brewing Marketing Manager and “Tall Drink of Water” Shakia Hollis joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick to discuss the upcoming 2017 Prom at Monday Night Brewing on February 10.
Monday Night Brewing is an Atlanta-based craft brewery that believes “weekends are overrated” and life should be celebrated every day of the week. The local brewery prides themselves on creating balanced, flavorful ales that pair well with food, even on weeknights. The laid-back atmosphere is the perfect place to loosen your tie, sit back and unwind with a tasty brew.
This year’s Prom theme is “Magic Under the Sea” and attire is completely up to the attendee, whether it be a sea-themed costume or even tacky or classic prom-style – just as long as you bring your dancing shoes.
This year’s Prom will even feature a specialty imperial pilsner beer, created specifically for the event. The new brew was aged in ruby port barrels with strawberries. In addition to receiving a 22-ounce bottle of Magic Under the Sea to take home, Prom guests will also enjoy:
- Commemorative Prom Glass
- DJ and dance off
- Photobooth
- 36 ounces of Black Tie Series and one-off beers that include:
- 2015 Bourbon Barrel Drafty Kilt
- 2016 Bourbon Barrel Drafty Kilt

Food will also be available for purchase onsite. The fun kicks off at 8 p.m. on Friday, February 10 and ends at 11 p.m.
For those that cannot attend, the local brewery is open for tours Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. The $12 tour includes a tour of the facility and opportunity to see where and how the beers are made, a commemorative pint glass and six drink tickets that can be redeemed for six different beer pours, or six of the same.
Monday Night Brewing is located in West Midtown, just off Howell Mill, at 670 Trabert Avenue NW in Atlanta. This event sells out every year, so act quickly!
