The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulates Environs Residential for winning a Gold OBIE in the Remodeling category for a bathroom. Environs Residential gives special thanks to the homeowners Ben and Tatiana Nemo, as well as Marie Black of Traditions in Tile, Mark Cheeks of Mark Cheeks Plumbing and Frank Gelineau at Canadian Tile.

This remodeling project was performed on a builder spec home that was constructed in the early 1990s. The master bath was huge but had very basic and very white finishes. The goal was to utilize the existing space, avoid moving windows if possible and modernize the bath with warmer tones, better lighting and a larger shower. All of this was achieved meeting the client’s budget goals. Environs Residential achieved the client’s goals by keeping all doors and windows in existing locations; spending money on fixtures and finishes rather than structure. Rich, yet economical, tile was used for the floor and shower, while tile used for the custom mosaic in featured areas was upgraded. Other details and features were added with the budget in mind, but never was craftsman ship, quality or service compromised. This bathroom will stand the test of time, functionally and stylistically.
