Shirley Gary, licensed partner and CEO of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and Atlanta North Fulton, is in studio for today’s episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, Gary discusses her process at Engel & Völkers, as well as the several communities and builders she represents.

Gary, an Atlanta native has been in real estate for over 30 years with a strong focus on new construction. She started her career working directly with builders for 20 years, before branching off and purchasing an Engel & Völkers franchise about six years ago. She started with the first market in Buckhead Atlanta and helped it grow from an 800 square foot state to a 5,000 square foot state. Gary also opened a second Atlanta location in North Fulton. Between the two locations, the company has about 110 advisors.

One Engel & Völkers builder, Rockhaven, has 12 communities currently open and plans to open five more this year. These single-family homes range in price from the high $100,000s to the low $300,000s, targeting the first time homebuyer market. “I think with the interest rates being what they are, regardless of the current environment, if you are able to get into a new home, first time homebuyers need to take advantage of that opportunity,” said Gary. “This is such an affordable time to buy.”
