Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta is excited to announce its new senior vice president of business development. With 25 years of real estate experience in sales, management, training and recruiting, Valerie Levin is responsible for procuring seasoned talent in the residential resale market, with an emphasis on the very best advisors, or agents, in the luxury arena, for the company.

“Valerie’s passion and energy for this industry will help us spread the Engel & Völkers brand in Atlanta,” said Shirley Gary, owner of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta. “She has fully embraced our business model and is already a huge asset to our growing team. I look forward to working closely with her as we find potential advisors for our Buckhead shop.”

Prior to accepting her position at Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta, Levin was a corporate recruiter for one of Atlanta’s largest and most respected real estate companies.

Levin is excited to work for Engel & Völkers because of its leadership, attention to detail and high standards. “This is a privately held company and the owner, Christian Völkers, along with our North America CEO, Anthony Hitt, both enjoyed very successful real estate careers,” she explained, “I believe it is important that the leadership team has been in the sales trenches, so to speak, to clearly understand and cater to the needs of their advisors and clients.”

Engel & Völkers is also set apart from other companies because of its attention to detail at every level, from the fine china used to serve coffee to clients to the signature red wax seal on hand written correspondence to its exclusive Shops of Buckhead location. According to Levin, the company is “elegant without being pretentious.”

Levin will help make sure that standards remain high and expectations are set with each advisor. “When I met with Shirley, I was immediately impressed with her commitment to bringing in the very best with regard to production and reputation,” said Levin. “Her passion is coaching, and she takes the careers and goals of those under her wing very seriously.”

When looking for advisors, Levin will make sure that they are up to the challenge to take their business to another level with a global view. “The international presence of this brand is extraordinary and Atlanta is ready for it,” stated Levin.

Though the Buckhead shop does not open until this fall, the response to the brand has been staggering. Already, Levin and Gary are meeting with talented professionals on a daily basis.

“We have already hired some outstanding advisors who are ready to start now!” shared Levin. “My pipeline is full with some excellent individuals that are seriously considering our brand, and I love that this is my job. I get to meet such great people!”

A resident of Buckhead, Levin is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and is currently serving on the organization’s Grievance Committee. She is also a Life Member of the Million Dollar Club.
