Would you like the chance to win fabulous items while also giving back to a local charity? Then you won’t want to miss this year’s Silent Auction, hosted by the Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) and the 50+ Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA).
Held on Wednesday, October 2 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Villa Christina, this year’s event will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, the charity organization of the GAHBA. HomeAid Atlanta builds and maintains dignified housing for homeless families and individuals in the hopes of helping them to rebuild their lives.
Featuring a fun casino theme, the event will have popular casino tables where you can try your luck at some of Vegas’ favorite games. In addition, there will be cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres to enjoy while bidding to win the awesome silent auction items available this year. Just a small selection of the amazing items up for grabs include two round-trip tickets from Southwest Airlines, jewelry items, four lower level tickets to an Atlanta Hawks game, two iPad Mini’s, a trip to Beau Rivage casino, a one-night stay at Barnsley Gardens Resort and rounds of golf at both Hamilton Mill and Lake Arrowhead.
Tickets for the event are $35 for HBA members and $45 non-HBA members. There is an additional $10 walk-in fee for those that do not pre-register.
To register online, visit the GAHBA website here. For more information on the event, contact Janel Grant at 678-775-1446.
