Georgians can get a FREE ride home from celebrating New Year’s Eve and the Super Bowl. These rides are courtesy of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), and are part of an effort to help keep Georgians safe. GOHS has created a list of safety partners across the state that will provide free rides. This gesture makes sure that you and your friends and family get home safely this season.

Lots of taxi companies and designated driver services will provide free rides home for those in need of a sober driver. For a complete list, click on the link below:

Additionally, GOHS has created Apps that provide super quick mobile access to available rides. Both Android and iPhone apps are available. Whether you are an individual who needs a ride, a party host needing a ride for a guest, a bar or restaurant needing rides for customers, these apps will help you through the process.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over is Georgia’s high visibility enforcement program that targets impaired drivers through concentrated patrols and sobriety checkpoints. Police officers, sheriffs deputies and state troopers will work together to protect everyone from impaired drivers during this busy time of the year.
