Denim Marketing Wins Gold in 14th Annual Hermes Creative Awards

Locally owned Denim Marketing is thrilled to announce its public relations and social media work was recognized in the 14th Annual Hermes Creative Awards with two Gold and two honorable mention awards. The Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals, honors the messengers and creators of the information revolution.

Readied with their imaginations and computers, Hermes winners bring their ideas to life through both digital and traditional media platforms. Each year, competition judges assess the creative industry’s top publications, websites, branding collateral, videos and marketing, communication and advertising programs.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for our work in media relations and social media,” Denim Marketing President and Founder Carol Morgan said. “The team at Denim Marketing is incredibly creative and hard-working.”

Denim Marketing received a Gold Hermes Award for the Operation Homefront television and media placements on behalf of Meritage Homes. The home builder partnered with Denim Marketing to promote its four events related to the Operation Homefront home giveaway at Vistas at Towne Mill in Canton, Georgia. This year’s home marks the 13th that Meritage Homes has donated to the national nonprofit serving America’s military families. Together, Operation Homefront and Meritage Homes welcomed a military family into a brand new, energy-efficient and mortgage-free home, helping them learn how to become successful homeowners. In promotion of the event, Denim Marketing secured multiple broadcast and print placements, including a televised news feature on the finished home.

The firm also received a Gold Hermes Award for the City of Powder Springs contest for social media and consumer engagement across multiple platforms. Designed to promote the advantages of the City of Powder Springs, the ‘P.S. Did you know’ campaign encouraged people familiar with Powder Springs to share their favorite things about the City to Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram using #PSContest. During the 90-day contest, there were a total of 390 eligible entries, with a total of 3,725 reactions, 897 comments and 373 shares.

Denim Marketing also received two honorable mentions in the 2020 Hermes Creative Awards. One for the firm’s Fall in Love campaign for Canine Pet Rescue, a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue organization focused on saving German Shepherds from high kill shelters in the South. The Valentine’s Day-themed Fall in Love pro-bono social media campaign ran on Facebook in February and highlighted dogs available for adoption.

Lastly, Denim Marketing received an honorable mention recognition for Pratt Stacks: 60 Leads in Two Days, a media relations campaign for The Providence Group of Georgia. The firm scored major news coverage for the announcement of Pratt Stacks, the builder’s new community, including placements in Curbed Atlanta and Atlanta Business Chronicle, which resulted in The Providence Group receiving 60 homebuyer leads in just two days.
