David Weekley Homes is the 2022 Volunteer of the Year for HomeAid Atlanta. HomeAid announced its 2022 Award Winners at the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) and HomeAid Atlanta Holiday Party and Silent Auction, hosted by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council.
Throughout the year, David Weekley Homes has contributed $8,000 to assist with a construction project at Crossroads Community Ministries, participated in a Care Day at Atlanta Children’s Shelter and donated clothing and household items to The Drake, Covenant House and SafeHouse Outreach through the Stock the House Drive. The home-building company also hosted a Thanksgiving Drive where 182 turkeys, 1,065 canned goods and 1,702 boxed goods were collected and donated to Crossroads Community Ministries, Cherokee County Homeless Veterans Program and the Vine City Civic Association.
With community engagement being a top priority, David Weekley Homes is a leader in humanitarian and volunteer work within the home-building industry. With hosting annual community build months and back-to-school supplies drives, the award-winning homebuilder is committed to improving lives and giving back to its communities.
