David Weekley Homes Thanksgiving Food Drive

The David Weekley Homes Atlanta Division is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for the ninth year in a row. The builder encourages real estate professionals, homebuyers and locals to support the drive by dropping off non-perishable food items until November 19 at the sales offices at its award-winning communities or the Division Headquarters. Additionally, David Weekley Homes is hosting a Turkey Drive one day only on November 19 to collect frozen turkeys for families in need to enjoy on Thanksgiving Day. Donations benefit MUST Ministries, a nonprofit organization devoted to addressing the basic needs of families, children and individuals year-round.

“Last year, our CARE Team collected 165 frozen turkeys and more than 4,200 pounds of canned goods for families in need,” said Adam Cornett, Atlanta Division President for David Weekley Homes. “An estimated 660 people benefited from that effort. Food insecurity is a very real issue – no matter the time of year – and David Weekley Homes divisions across the nation are working hard to get even more participation this holiday season in hopes of helping as many families as humanly possible.”
