Avalon in AlpharettaLast Tuesday, May 14, Monte Hewett Homes unveiled the plans for  the new homes at Avalon in Alpharetta, a development which emphasizes the timeless art of living well. The event, which was held at the Atlanta Fine Homes office in Alpharetta, drew a large crowd of both industry professionals and interested buyers.

Monte Hewett, owner of Monte Hewett Homes, was on hand to talk about the designs for our new Cottage, Villa and Terrace homes. All of the home designs will incorporate outdoor living spaces in some unique way. The Terrace designs are attached homes, but like no townhome you have ever seen before.

Avalon in AlpharettaLew Oliver, who designed the master plan for the residential section of the community said of the homes, “If I have to put a name on the type of home style, it would be Regency.”

“We are proud and honored to be an integral part of the Avalon project. There is nothing else in the Southeast, if not on the whole East coast that will compare to the Avalon concept. We are thrilled about the beautiful, yet completely thoughtful home and terrace home designs we have been working on with Lew Oliver, and we are excited to share them with the community,” said Hewett. Pricing for the homes at Avalon will be announced when we get closer to our construction start date, set tentatively for early 2014.

North American properties’ managing partner Mark Toro also provided attendees an overview of the vision for the development, as well as highlighted some of the retailers that have already signed on including Whole Foods, Regal Cinemas, Marlow’s Tavern Bocado Burger Bar, Ted’s Montana Grill, lululemon, Anthropologie, Cru Food & Wine Bar, Ford Fry, Banana Republic, Paper Source, Athleta, Arhaus, Fly Wheel, fab’rik and Orvis.
