Construction Resources, Inc. is excited to announce that Cambria’s expansion of its factory in Le Sueur, Minnesota is now complete. Along with expanding its production plant to 750,000 square feet and hiring an additional 220 employees, Cambria will be able to develop more of the world’s best and largest design palette of natural quartz for its exclusive partners, such as Construction Resources’ Atlanta Kitchen.
“We are the exclusive suppliers of every design stock that Cambria offers,” explained Mitch Hires, president of Construction Resources. “Cambria’s expansion will allow us to increase our inventory and product selection while offering Cambria designs to our customers at an accelerated speed.”
As a result of the expansion, all of Cambria’s 102 designs, including back ordered products, are now available for order. Pure, natural quartz is one of the hardest and most common minerals on Earth. Cambria has the look and feel of granite but features superior performance because of its strength and durability. It is as safe as stainless steel for food preparation, plus it is maintenance free.
Cambria takes great pride in being the only American company in the quartz business and embraces the value of being family-owned.
Due to its high demand for Cambria countertops, the $121 million expansion was the second in six years for the company. The first was in 2007 and doubled the Le Sueur factory to 325,000 square feet.
